Supporting Arts & Culture | Lead Bank Community Bank

Building community one work of art at a time.

The arts is about more than painting and music– it’s about the stories and ideas that connect us to the people around us. Lead Bank is proud to support these connections by sponsoring artists, organizations, and festivals in the Kansas City area.

Kansas City Art Institute and LEAP

Lead Bank supports the Kansas City Art Institute because it’s one more way we can engage and connect the next generation of creators to the community. In addition to our CEO Josh Rowland serving on the board, Lead Bank sponsors the Lead Bank Emerging Artist Prize (LEAP).

Visit our Kansas City location lobby every quarter to see each student artist winner's work!

Kansas City Symphony.

With bankers that volunteer and a CEO that’s on the Symphony board, you’ll see us in lots of places, yet here’s where we’ve been lately.  You’ll find us supporting their cause with these activities:

  • Sponsoring the KC Symphony Happy Hour Series
  • Lead Bank CEO Josh Rowland serves on the symphony board

We are thrilled that Lead Bank continues to support the Kansas City Art Institute now through the Lead Emerging Artist Prize (LEAP). The arts are a powerful expression of creativity and an integral part of the Kansas City community and we are fortunate to have Lead Bank as a community partner.

Bambi Burgard, Ph.D., Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, Kansas City Art Institute
