Chief People & Experiences Officer

Angela Blackburn is the Chief People & Experiences Officer (CPO) of Lead Bank. As CPO, Angela leads the human resources, total rewards, DEI (diversity, equity & inclusion), and talent functions at Lead.

Previously, she was Director of Human Resources at Safehome, a domestic violence shelter for women. Prior, she spent seven years at Peoples Bank as Senior Vice President of Human Resources where she scaled the People team and helped the company quadruple in size. She also served as Vice President of Human Resources at First Home Bank.

Angela received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Human Resources Development from Pittsburg State University. She currently is HR-certified with her SHRM-CP. Angela served on the Board of Safehome from 2019-2020, and currently serves on the Development Committee at her children’s elementary school.
